No BC yet...........so sad.

I just got word that the attorney went to RENAP to get the BC and they said to come back on Monday. UGH!!!! He said he was still sending someone daily to see if it is ready, but I suppose we have to wait until Monday or Tuesday to find out if it is ready. For every week that the BC is not ready, it pushes us back another week for pickup. Now we are looking at the week of October 27th to bring her home. This sucks.

A few nights ago Sofia and I had a video conference. They have a laptop and Sofia kept climbing up to the computer and folding the screen down to see if I was behind there!!!!! She says 'mom, mom, mom' while she is looking. OMG, I love her!!!! She blows me kisses and she also says 'fish' that sounds like 'shish' while she looks into their fish bowl. We are video conferencing more often and I am hoping that eases her transition. We are hoping to hear about the BC on Tuesday. God, please let it be ready, please.

We Have Been Submitted For BC!!!!!

I received the receipt for the BC being submitted to RENAP. It was dated September 3rd. It states for the atty to come back to pick up the BC on September 23rd. Yes that sounds exciting because we will be able to pick her up about 2 and a half weeks after we get the BC. BUT..... and it is a BIG BUT..... it is unlikely they will have it ready when they say. I am just going by other's expericences lately with getting BC's, but it is still fun to think it could be soon! We are so excited we can hardly wait!!!!!!!!!

Our baby is getting so BIG!

I just received these pics from our agency of Sofia today. Look at how big our baby is getting! She is going to be 18 months old this month! Mayra and Keila and I were in a video conference the other day and Sofia looked right at me and said, "Mama". That was the first time I ever heard her say my name. I know this sounds all sappy, but I swear I will never forget that moment. Anyhow, go stare at how gorgeous she is!!!!
