DNA is at the LAB!!!

DNA is at the lab!!! They will run the sample which takes 24 hours and then it will be back on its way to Guatemala on Monday. It would normally arrive to the US Embassy on Tuesday, but OF COURSE, it is closed due to Veteran's Day, so instead they will receive it on Wednesday. Hopefully the Embassy will issue our appointment date via email on that day, but sometimes it takes a day for them to send it. Our appointment will either be scheduled on Monday the 17th or Tuesday the 18th. We will have to stay the following day to pick up her visa and then fly back home early the next morning. Either way, we will fly to Guatemala the day before and have Sofia placed in our arms FOREVER! I can't even imagine what it will feel like not to have to give her back.
